Long Island Demo Center — Bay Shore, NY
Your team learns it
before it ships
Every purchase includes in-person training on the actual equipment. Bring the people who will run it and they leave ready to print.
How training works
Four steps, one visit
Walk the demo center
Watch the printer run on a real wall, bring your questions, and confirm the machine fits the spaces you manage.
Setup & leveling
Hands-on assembly and leveling — the step that decides whether prints come out sharp or banded.
Print & calibration
Run your own artwork through the software, dial in color, and learn the head maintenance that keeps the machine healthy.
Ship with spares
The machine arrives with the spare parts and tools that keep a job moving when your crew is mid-corridor.
What we cover
Ten areas, two days
The order shifts depending on who is in the room — people arrive wanting help with different things. This is the ground it covers.
Before the printer arrives
What wall printing is, computer basics, image files, Photoshop basics, RIP basics, site surveys and estimating.
Machine fundamentals
Components, assembly, rails, leveling, print head, ink system, sensors and safety.
Daily setup
Unpacking, positioning, leveling, distance from the wall, laser alignment, nozzle checks and calibration.
Preparing artwork
Resolution, DPI, dimensions, cropping, color, transparency, white ink, RIP setup and test prints.
Your first wall print
An actual print, beginning to end.
Different surfaces
Drywall, painted walls, brick, concrete, wood, glass, metal, tile and athletic flooring.
Advanced printing
Uneven floors and walls, corners, tall prints, very long prints, restarting an interrupted job and aligning multiple sections.
Maintenance
Daily, weekly and long-term maintenance, print head cleaning, ink system care, nozzle recovery and storage.
Troubleshooting
Banding, missing nozzles, color problems, head strikes, communication errors, alignment and sensor problems.
Running the business
Site surveys, quoting, pricing, ink-cost calculation, customer approvals, contracts, marketing, photography and repeat customers.
Visiting the demo center
The demo center is at 60 Corbin Ave, Unit 60J, Bay Shore, NY 11706, about an hour from midtown Manhattan and reachable from anywhere on Long Island.
Standard training runs two days on Long Island for up to two people. If you are buying the floor printer as well, it runs three days. We also come to you — on-site training at your own building is available.
Bring nothing but the two people. Everything needed is here.
Travel and lodging are yours to arrange, and we are glad to help you sort them out. There are good small towns nearby to stay in, and Manhattan is about an hour away if anyone wants to make a trip of it.
We strongly recommend taking the training, particularly if nobody on the team has run a printer before. Send someone with a mechanical streak — the machine needs real maintenance, and the person who enjoys that work is the person who should be in the room.
After you own the machine
Technical support is included for the life of the printer, for the original purchaser, with no charge for phone or online help.
- Support hours — Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
- Response — we aim for 30 minutes and guarantee a response within 4 hours during those hours.
- Outside those hours — we will often help on Sundays and after hours, though we cannot guarantee someone is available.
- Service calls — our technicians work with you over WhatsApp. Most things are solved remotely, and a machine can be brought in when it needs hands on it.
- Refresher training — free, online, whenever you need it.
Follow-up online is open-ended. If a new person joins your team two years from now, that call is still included.
What the two days actually cover — including what you will be operating yourself, whether you can bring your own artwork, and what happens when you forget something back at your building.
